Environmebtal Policy FABIOS S.A. Collagen Casing Factory

in Bialka (near Maków Podhalański)

The FABIOS S.A. Collagen Casing Factory, which is situated in Białka in the direct vicinity of the Babiogórski National Park, produces collagen casing used in the production of cured meat products. The factory management, bearing in mind what is good for the natural environment, are committed to the continuous improvement of the effectiveness of activities relating to the  prevention and limiting of pollution, at the same time observing all regulations and legal acts as well as the requirements of the PN-ISO-14001-2004 standard.

We are committed in our operations to:

• carring out technological processes in a way that limits the volume of waste produced and the amount of electricity used,
• the limiting of emissions harmful to the atmosphere,
• carring out efficient waste management with the aim of minimalizing it,
• effective and economical management of energy sources and water,
• the raising of environmental awareness among personnel, especially those whose work has an impact on the environment, through appropriate staff training.

The policy detailed above has been communicated to all workers, as well as subcontractors and suppliers of FABIOS S.A.
