Collagen film and foil sleeve

Collagen film and foil sleeve  are edible products made of fine collagen pulp. Those products adhore to meat  while thermal treatment creating appetizing surface. By using special shaped moulds, you can give attractive look to your products.

There are two types of casings:

  • collagen film,
  • foil sleeve which looks like a standard collagen casings but produced from fine collagen pulp.

Application:

Collagen film and foil sleeve is ised in manufacturing of corned and scalded products in nets, such as:

  • ham,
  • ham alike products,
  • gammon,
  • smocked bacon,
  • sirloin,
  • meat products in nets.

Quality features:

  • collagen film allows the net to be taken off a ham without meat losses,
  • it may be used on typical applicators for ham production,
  • it limits juice loss,
  • it increases production efficiency,
  • it smokes evently and gives a beautiful glow to the products.

Offered sizes:

  • collagen film: 400 mm and 480 mm width foil sheets,
  • foil sleeve: offered calibers: ø85, ø115, ø126, ø136, ø156 mm.

Packaging:

  • rolls of 50-100 meters.

Instruction for use:

Collagen film is processed dry. When filling you may use an applicator. For pickled, boiled and rolled products, the collagen film is usually used underneath a flexible netting.

When filling foil sleeve using an applicator it is possible to continuously produce hams or sausages whit netting.

Warranty period:

Collagen film and foil sleeve have 18 months shelf life of application from production date.
